Erin Victor, NMD, is a primary care physician who focuses on family, women’s, and pediatric medicine as well as fertility and prenatal health. The practice of creating a foundation of health for the family as a whole, with prevention at its core, inspired her to become a physician. Her appreciation of the diversity of people’s lives fostered a passionate desire to help them become the fullest expression of themselves.
Dr. Victor’s philosophy centers on identifying and treating the root cause of a problem rather than just the symptoms, using the body’s innate ability to heal itself when given the tools it needs. This approach often requires in-depth work with nutrition and lifestyle to optimize health. As an expert in prevention and chronic disease, Dr. Victor believes in using customized naturopathic approaches to fit the specific needs of each client.
After graduating from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona, Dr. Victor rediscovered her love of obstetrics and began her residency in home-birth midwifery, which she completed with Mary Ann Baul at Womancare Midwifery in Flagstaff. She served for 4 years as a Board Member and officer of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association, co-chairing legislative affairs and serving on the marketing committee in order to increase awareness about naturopathic medicine and improve access in underserved communities. She continues to develop her knowledge and experience in the naturopathic field and contributes to furthering the awareness of the role of naturopathic medicine in the spectrum of treatment options.
A native Arizonan and outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Victor loves the Flagstaff area and the opportunities for enjoying the outdoors with her family. She is honored to serve at Flagstaff Clinic of Naturopathic Medicine.
